Poor air quality can lead to the spread of harmful bacteria that can create offensive odours and increase the risk of infections.

Airborne microorganisms grow at a rapid rate. In just 8 hours, a single bacteria cell can multiply to over 8 million, meaning odours prevail and the health risks increase.

AirSteril air purification systems offer a permanent 24 hours a day, 365 days a year system that guarantees to control infections and odours in any enclosed space. It does this by treating the root cause – by destroying the bacteria, viruses, mould and fungi to ensure the air and all exposed surfaces have been sanitised.

The systems generate UV-C, otherwise known as ultraviolet germicidal irradiation (UVGI). UVGI is a disinfection method that uses short- wavelength ultraviolet (UV-C) light to kill or inactivate microorganisms by destroying nucleic acids and disrupting their DNA, leaving them unable to perform vital cellular functions.
